Initial Phone Conversation:
You can call me at 650-416-6555 and leave a message, and I will return your call as soon as I can. During our call we can talk about your situation, difficulties you are experiencing, what changes you would like to make, and how we can work together. There is no charge for this initial conversation, and no obligation to schedule a session. These conversations generally last about 15 minutes.
Email:
You can also send an email to set up a phone consultation or an appointment. Please let me know when would be a good time to call you. My email address is: [email protected]
Location
At this time, I am working with client using telehealth on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Session Length and Fees:
Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes. Please call to discuss the fee for the session.
I offer a sliding scale fee for people who are experiencing financial hardship. If I can not offer a session fee as low as you need, I will do my best to provide you with referrals to more affordable treatment options. Please feel free to call for more information
650-416-6555.
About insurance:
I am not currently contracted with any insurance companies. I would be classified as an "out-of-network provider". If we were to work together, you might be able to get some reimbursement from your insurance provider depending on the terms of your policy. However, it would cost you less to work with a therapist who is "in-network" and contracted with your insurance company.
License and Affiliations:
I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). This license is issued by the Board of Behavioral Sciences in the State of California.
As an active member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT), I also volunteer to promote comradery and education within the therapeutic community.
I am also listed on the Psychology Today website (PsychologyToday.com)
